It's proper country here at Blame Mabel, a 30 acre vineyard in the Moorabool Valley near Geelong, Victoria.

 

The vineyard climbs the volcanic mountain, kangaroos get right of way and the country shines.

 

People come to stay in the farmhouse or cabins, to visit the cellar door and sometimes to marry under open skies.

A boutique winery in Anakie, near Geelong. Quick visits turn into a longer stay, with platters of local produce, handcrafted wines and the occasional interruption from Mabel chasing her ball.
